The great visionary and philanthropist Late.Thiru. K. Pitchiah Pillai and Kalyani Ammal’s desire is to raise the Women Literacy Rate, they served the cause of school education for well over forty four years and extend to collegiate education. Owing to this matter of pride “Mangayarkarasi College of Education for Women” was established by Mangayarkarasi Educational Trust on 1st Sept.2006.
